RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ESTABLISH FOUR ADDI-
TIONAL FUNDS, REMOVE THE COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT FUND FROM THE
APPROPRIATION SYSTEM, AND CHANGE THE NAME OF THE INTERGOVERN-
MENTAL FUND TO THE I.G.S. MOTOR POOL FUND.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need to set
up four additional funds through the Weld County Treasurer ' s Office,
and
WHEREAS, the following is a breakdown of each individual
fund:
I.G. S. Insurance Fund
I.G.S. Printing and Supplies Fund
I.G.S. Computer Services Fund
Library Fund
WHEREAS, the accounts , as aforesaid, are to be extracted from
the General Fund, and said transfer must be the audited year-
ending balance, and
WHEREAS, the I.G.S. Printing and Supplies Fund is an inter-
governmental service fund for the financing and accounting of
printing and supplies services furnished by the Printing and
Supply Department to other departments , and
WHEREAS, the I.G.S. Computer Services Fund is an inter-
governmental service fund for the financing and accounting of
computer services furnished by the Computer Department to other
departments, and
WHEREAS, the I.G.S. Insurance Fund is an intergovernmental
service fund for the financing and accounting of insurance cover-
age furnished to other departments, and
WHEREAS, the Library Fund is a special revenue fund for the
purpose of separate accounting of tte Library Department, and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need to change
the name of the Intergovernmental Agency Fund to the I .G.S . Motor
Pool Fund to better describe its primary function, and
WHEREAS , it has been determined that the Council of Govern-
mental Fund is no longer necessary for the function of Weld County
since the Council of Governments is now a separate function.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the I.G.S . Printing and
Supplies Fund, I.G. S. Computer Services Fund, the I.G.S. Insurance
Fund, and the Library Fund be, and hereby are, introduced into the
Weld County appropriation system, and that the Weld County Treasurer
is hereby authorized to establish said funds accordingly.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that the Council of Governments Fund be,
and hereby is, removed from the appropriation system and that the
Weld County Treasurer is hereby authorized to abolish said fund
accordingly, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that the name of the Intergovernmental
Agency Fund be changed to the I.G. S. Motor Pool Fund.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of
January, A.D. , 1979.
