RE: ACKNOWLEDGE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE
(TS CERT 2004-0288) FOR PARCEL#055326203012
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT
2004-0288), for parcel #055326203012, from the office of the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS,the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A,a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation of
TS CERT 2004-0288, and
WHEREAS,the facts as set forth on Exhibit A further authorize the denial of a refund to the
holder of TS CERT 2004-0288, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to acknowledge the cancellation of
the Tax Lien Sale Certificate(TS CERT 2004-0288)for the property described above and to deny a
refund to the holder of the Certificate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2004-0288), on
parcel#055326203012, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, acknowledged.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 26th day of November, A.D., 2012.

On NOVEMBER 4, 2004, Tax Lien Sale Certificate 2004-0288 was sold to RICHARD .1
CRAVEN for the following property:
ACCOUNT: R0357495
PARCEL: 0553-26-2-03-012
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: PIE 18817-C L5-6-7 BLK1 CAVE & PRIDDY
I am hereby asking for TS CERT 2004-0288 to be canceled because of a second tax lien sale
certificate of purchase was sold on NOVEMBER 2, 2007 to EASTERN COLORADO
RENTALS LLC. EASTERN COLORADO RENTALS LLC made application for a
Treasurer's Deed to the property and at that time RICHARD J CRAVEN was notified and given
the opportunity to endorse all subsequent taxes onto his certificate and make application for a
Treasurer's Deed himself. RICHARD J CRAVEN chose not to take any action. The
Treasurer's Deed was issued to EASTERN COLORADO RENTALS LLC. This created the
need of a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners to cancel TS CERT 2004-0288.
No authorization of refund to RICHARD J. CRAVEN due to the circumstances described
