Conway, Chair Commissioner William F. Garcia, Pro-Tem - EXCUSED Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer Commissioner David E. Long Commissioner Douglas Rademacher Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Assistant County Attorney, Brad Yatabe Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman Public Works representative, Don Carroll Health Department representative, Lauren Light The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 18, 2012, and duly published May 23, 2012, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Richard and Betty Roos, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR12-0007, for a Kennel (up to 40 dogs) and any Use permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts, provided that the property is not a lot in an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of any regulations controlling subdivisions (storage of stone and masonry materials and stone and masonry installation equipment) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Brad Yatabe, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. e Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, requested this matter be continued to August 1, 2012, to allow additional time to complete the necessary newspaper publication requirement. He confirmed the applicant agreed with the proposed date. El The applicant was not present and no public testimony was offered concerning this matter. In Commissioner Rademacher moved to continue the request of Richard and Betty Roos for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR12-0007, for a QP, Ca,PL, VW/1h_ 2012-1670 a-i a PL2167 HEARING CERTIFICATION-RICHARD AND BETTY ROOS(USR12-0007) PAGE 2 Kennel (up to 40 dogs)and any Use permitted as a Use by Right,Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts,provided that the property is not a lot in an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of any regulations controlling subdivisions(storage of stone and masonry materials and stone and masonry installation equipment) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to August 1, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., to allow additional time to complete the necessary newspaper publication requirement. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion,the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m. This Certification was approved on the 16th day of July,2012.
