NOTICE OF HEARING AND FILING OF PETITION AND PLAN FOR DISSOLUTION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there were filed with the District Court in
and for Weld County, Colorado, a Petition and Plan for Dissolution of the East 1-25 Sanitation
District("District") and related documents for the dissolution of the District.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Court has set a hearing on the question of
dissolution, which hearing is to be held on the 4`h day of April, 2012, at 10:30 o'clock a.m., in
Division 4, at the Weld County Courthouse, 915 10`x' Street, Greeley, Colorado.
The purpose of the Court hearing shall be to consider the sufficiency of the Petition for
Dissolution and the adequacy of the applicable financial and service provisions of the Pre-
Inclusion and Dissolution Agreement ("Agreement") entered into between the District and the
St. Vrain Sanitation District ("St. Vrain"), regarding the continuation of the District's services
and disposition of the District's assets and payment of its financial obligations. The Agreement
and Plan for Dissolution are available for inspection at the Court.
The Agreement and Plan for Dissolution denote that all property located within the
boundaries of the District will be included within the boundaries of St. Vrain, upon approval of
the eligible electors of the District. The existing services of the District will be provided by St.
Vrain. All assets and easements of the District will be transferred to St. Vrain. The District shall
continue in existence for the sole purpose of securing the payment in full of the District's
outstanding debt obligations.
In accordance with the procedures set forth in Part 7, Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S., any
interested party may appear and be heard on the sufficiency of the Petition for Dissolution or on
the adequacy of the applicable financial and service provisions of the Agreement and Plan for
Dissolution.
