RESCINDING RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 18, 1977 RE: SURFACING
OF COUNTY ROAD 23 AND AUTHORIZING THE SURFACING OF _7zMILES
OF`COUNTY ROADS IN RANGES .66 AND 67; TOWNSHIPS 2 AND 3
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Coloradp, that portions of
County Roads 23, 241/2, 212 and 28 in Weld County, Colorado, are
in need of surfacing, and
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1977, at the regularly scheduled
meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, it was determined by said Board, after hearing a
presentation from Frank Smith, Weld County Engineer, regarding
said Roads, that the estimated cost of materials for low density
surfacing would be $17, 5000. 00, and that labor costs will not
be included in this figure as Weld County crews will be performing
the construction, and
WHEREAS, at said July 13, 1977 meeting, it was concluded
that said Board be prepared to make a final decision on this matter
at the July 18, 1977 regularly scheduled meeting of the Board
of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration and discussion among
the Board members on July 18, 1977, it was decided that the
surfacing of portions of said Weld County Raods, be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Resolution
adopted July 18, 1977 re: Surfacing of County Road 23, be and
hereby is rescinded and further that the surfacing of Weld
County Road 23 from County Road 18 North to County Road 241/2,
then West on County Road 241/2 to County Road 211, then North on
County Road 211/2 to County Road 28, then East on County Road
28 to Colorado State Highway 85 be, and hereby is approved.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day
of February, A.D. , 1978.

the following to specifically describe the roads
to be upgraded to low density surfacing. County
Road 23 from County Road 18 north to County Road 241j
then west on County Road 241 to County Road 21., then
north on County Road 211 to County Road 28, then east
on County Road 28 to Colorado State Highway 85.
