We built our lovely home 12 years ago doing nearly all the work ourselves and have enjoyed
living on the plains. An important benefit to living out in the country is the peace and quiet. This
is no longer true due to the addition of the central drilling station just south of us.
This drilling station has compressors that are terribly loud and run continuously day and night.
We recently added a new deck that we can not enjoy due to the sound. Just being outdoors is
beyond an annoyance, it is uncomfortable. With the air density at night, the noise is extremely
loud causing sleeplessness. Even when our home is closed up the constant roar can be heard. We
have enjoyed opening up our house to the cool breeze, an option we took advantage of over half
the year.We can not do this anymore due to the overwhelming noise.
The compressors are also causing vibrations that can be felt throughout our home. This can be
seen by the shaking pictures on the walls and lights/fans hanging from the ceiling. The central
drilling station is also lit with bright lights throughout the night.
It is devastating that our home is not the sanctuary and place of refuge that it used to be. The
noise, vibrations and lights make our home a very difficult place to relax. We are now living with
a tremendously frustrating situation, one that could have been avoided by locating the central
drilling station away from our home.
The most destructive and totally unfair issue is the fact that the value of our home and property
has plummeted. The noise, vibrations and lights are polluting/trespassing onto our home and
property drastically diminishing the value.
You asked what Noble Energies could do for us.We would like to be compensated for the noise,
vibration, and light pollution/trespassing we endure and for the damages done to our home and
property value. We would like to request a monthly compensation of$6000 each month from the
time it began in April, 2012,until the pollution/trespassing and damages are alleviated.
Please respond to this letter within the next 2 weeks. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
Brian&Vickie Graber
