As you will recall the initial project cost and request for assistance was for $110 ,000 . However, further evaluation of the project has revealed that a project cost of $131, 700 is more in line with actual project needs. Farmers Home Administration has given preliminary approval for grant and loan assistance of $106 , 800 . The proposed assistance is as follows , pending additional approval from the Four Corners Regional Commission: Amount Percent Farmers Home Administration Grant $63, 800 48. 4* Farmers Home Administration Low Interest Loan 42 ,000 31.9 Four Corners Regional Comm. 25 ,900 19 . 7 $131 ,700 100 .0 *Maximum assistance 50 percent project cost As you may recall from my conversation with you at the August COG Board meeting, the Four Corners Commission is out of money for the 1977 Fiscal Year for the State of Colorado. It is possible , however, that monies may be available from other states which could be borrowed this Fiscal Year and the favor returned in Fiscal Year 1978. I will continue to monitor the Town of Grover's progress in their requests and provide them technical assistance until we are positive that the grant request has been completed and the project initiated. Please call me if you have need for further detail regarding this grant request. 77001 , TLT :psj 15C 7 / /2/ 77 Hello
