WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-8 (4) (c) of the Weld
County Home Rule Charter, it shall be the duty of the Board
of County Commissioners to appoint the department heads of
county offices, departments and divisions, and
WHEREAS , Section 4-4 of said Charter provides for a
Department of Planning Services and a Director of same.
It has been recommended that Gary Z . Fortner be appointed
as Director of Planning Services .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado, that Gary Z . Fortner
be, and he hereby is appointed as Director of Planning Ser-
vices; and that Mr. Fortner serve in this capacity at the
pleasure of the Board.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote this
2nd day of January, 1976.
