Dear Sir/Madam,
The Weld County Building Department has reviewed the history and investigated any complaints or
violations that accompany the parcel the establishment resides on. The findings are as followed:
• There are currently no existing violations or complaints on this parcel. Building permits and engineered
plans are required for new structures.
Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct,enlarge,alter, repair, move, demolish, or
change the occupancy of a building or structure,or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove,
convert or replace any electrical,gas, mechanical or plumbing system, or to cause any such work to be
done, shall first make application to the building official and Weld County to obtain the required permit.

SUBJECT: USR12-0012 Weld County Public Works
DATE: March 26, 2012
Environmental Health Services has reviewed this proposal for a 300 foot communication
tower and associated support building. As no employees will be located at the site,
permanent water and sewer is not required. Portable toilets and hand washing units
can be utilized during construction of the tower. Bottled water is sufficient for drinking
provisions during construction.
There are sanitation facilities available at the Southwest Weld County building which is
adjacent to this location.
• The application indicates that a 1000 gallon propane tank will be utilized to power the
back-up generator and will be buried on the property. The applicant shall comply with
the provisions of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Oil and Public
Safety Division's Underground Storage Tank Regulations.
We have no objections to the proposal; however, we do recommend that the following
requirements are incorporated into the permit as development standards:
1. All liquid and solid wastes (as defined in the Solid Wastes Disposal Sites and
Facilities Act, 30-20-100.5, C.R.S., as amended) shall be stored and removed for
final disposal in a manner that protects against surface and groundwater
contamination.
2. No permanent disposal of wastes shall be permitted at this site. This is not
meant to include those wastes specifically excluded from the definition of a solid
waste in the Solid Wastes Disposal Sites and Facilities Act, 30-20-100.5, C.R.S.,
as amended.
3. Waste materials shall be handled, stored, and disposed in a manner that controls
fugitive dust, fugitive particulate emissions, blowing debris, and other potential
nuisance conditions.

• 4. Fugitive dust and fugitive particulate emissions shall be controlled on this site.
5. Adequate drinking (bottled water), toilet facilities (portable toilets) and hand
washing units shall be provided during construction of the facility.
6. The applicant shall comply with all provisions of the State Underground and
Above Ground Storage Tank Regulations.
7. The operation shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations of State and
Federal agencies and the Weld County Code.

Dear Mr.Parko:
I have reviewed the submitted material pertaining to the Site Specific Development Plan and use
by Special Review Permit for a telecommunications facility at 4209 Weld County Road 24.5
(Case Number: USR12-0012). The Fire District does not object to the request provided the
requirements of the International Fire Code are met.
Plans for any construction on the property, including a communication tower and equipment
building,must be submitted to the Fire District for review and approval prior to the issuance of
• any building permits to ensure compliance with the Fire Code before construction commences.
