RESOLUTION
RE: ABATEMENT OF TAXES - MARTIN OIL SERVICE, INC . P.O. BOX
298, BLUE ISLAND, ILLINOIS 60406 .
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 39-1-113,
1973, as amended, a hearing was held on January 31, 1977, on
the petition of Martin Oil Service for abatement of taxes on
certain equipment located on the following described real estate,
to-wit:
The South Half (S') of Section 24 in Township 2 North,
of Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. in Weld County, Colorado,
for the reason that the price per unit per capital MCF of gas
was erroneously reported as $1. 69 when it should have been
$1.0685 , and
WHEREAS, at such hearing, H. H. Hansen, Weld County
Assessor was present, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has considered the petition and allowed an abatement
which resulted in a total assessed valuation of said property
in the sum of $159 ,728.00 rather than the incorrect figure as re-
ported of $246,560. 00. Said abatement reduces the orginial tax
of $20, 316. 54 by the sum of $7, 151. 49 resulting in a total tax
due for the year 1976 in the total sum of $13, 165.05, and
WHEREAS, said petition was submitted to the property tax
administrator of the State of Colorado, R. E. Carper, who re-
viewed said petition and approved the action of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, said approval
being made on the 4th day of February, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the petition for
abatement on taxes on certain equipment located on the above
described real estate for and on behalf of Martin Oil Service,
Inc. , be and hereby is allowed to the extent as set forth in
this resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution, was on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st

Our 1976 Oil & Gas Property Declaration Schedule filed for 1976 listed the
Price Per Unit per MCF of Gas as $1.69 when it should have been $1.0685. This
resulted in an increased valuation by the Assessor's office from the $170,742 for
the Gross Value of Production of Gas correctly shown on our return to $269,940.

Dear Sir:
Enclosed are three completed copies of Form 920, Petition for
Abatement on Refund of Taxes on our Well, Walsh #3.
Attached are remittance statements for September 1975 and
October 1975. The well went into p;oduction in August, 1975. The
gas was sold to Panhandle and Amoco purchased the liquids in the
gas. Both gas and liquids were under contract and the basic prices
for 1975 did not change. Totals were as follows:
