RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Judy Yamaguchi be appointed to said board,to
replace Mary Pat Eastwood, that Thomas "Jerry" Kearney be appointed to said board, to replace
Josephine Sanchez, and that Willis Kulp be appointed to said board, to replace Kenneth Whitney,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Wayne Wagner and Ken Humphrey be
appointed to said board as additional members, and to reappoint Roy Wardell to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Judy Yamaguchi, Thomas "Jerry"
Kearney, Willis Kulp, Wayne Wagner and Ken Humphrey to said board, and to reappoint Roy
Wardell to said board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Judy Yamaguchi, Thomas"Jerry" Kearney, Willis Kulp,Wayne Wagner and
Ken Humphrey be, and hereby are, appointed to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
that Roy Wardell be reappointed to said board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2015.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 27th day of February, A.D., 2012.
