RE: GRANT REQUEST OF AIMS COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR USE OF THE
WALTON BUILDING MEETING ROOM.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Aims Community College has requested that they be
allowed to use the large meeting room at the Walton Building
for a course to prepare students for the GED examination, and
WHEREAS, said meeting room will be used from July 9, 1979
through August 20, 1979 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. on Monday
through Friday with 12 to 20 students attending the course, and
WHEREAS, Aims Community College shall reimburse Weld County
at a reasonable rate as agreed upon by Aims Community College,
the Director of Social Services and the Director of Finance, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that said course will not
interfere with the operations of Social Services, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desire to grant said
request by Aims Community College.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Aims
Community College for use of the large meeting room at the
Walton Building on the dates aforementioned be, and hereby is,
granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
July, A.D. , 1979.
