WHEREAS, on September 27, 1975 at 11: 00 A.M. a
fire erupted in a county building in Ault, Colorado where
several thousand dollars' worth of Weld County vehicles and
equipment were stored, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that Roy
Hensley displayed courage by contacting the fire department
and aiding in control of the blaze, and
WHEREAS, the Board, upon its own investigation,
has determined that several thousands of public tax dollars
were saved, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best
interests of the County to take all necessary steps to re-
ward Roy Hensley for his actions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners, that it hereby authorizes and directs
the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Barton
Buss, to draw a warrant in the amount of $100. 00, payable to
Roy Hensley, and further authorizes the Chairman of the Board
to present said warrant.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote, on
the 8th day of October, 1975 .
