HomeMy WebLinkAbout750544.tiff RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the people of Weld County, State of Colorado, are greatly saddened by the death of Anthony J. (Tony) Lembach on April 20, 1975; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, wishes to express its profound sense of loss at the death of Anthony J. (Tony) Lembach, respected pharmacist and dedicated public- spirited citizen, who had gained the love, respect, and admiration of the people of Weld County; and WHEREAS, the Board wishes to express its appreciation posthu- mously for Tony's long and dedicated service to the citizens of Weld County in many and varied civic capacities, including his past chairmanship and current service on the Weld County Board of Health; his many other civic activities have included his being recipient of the A. H. Robins Award for Community Service in Pharmacy in 1962; President of the Greeley Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians; founder of the Tri-County Pharmacal Association; President of the Weld County Pharmacal Associa- tion; co-founder of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus; active in Boy Scouts of America and particularly co-founder of the Nation's first troop of handicapped Boy Scouts; U. S. Army Surgical Technicians; American Legion; Last Patrol; Colorado State Commander of the Disabled American Veterans; Midwestern Regional Governor of Toastmasters, Inter- national; and the list is probably not complete. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that by the death of Anthony J. (Tony) Lembach, Weld County has experienced the loss of one of its outstanding citizens and it does hereby pay tribute to a man of great personal integrity, warmth, humanity, and pharmacal capability who served Weld County and 750544 his fellow men with great ability and compassion; thus does the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, extend its deepest sympathy to all members of the Lembach family and his many friends. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on this 30th day of April, 1975.
