Dear Mr. Garcia:
Please accept this letter as our public records request to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado under C.R.S. 24-72-201, et seq. for the following records:
1. All documents, correspondence, letters, e-mails, recordings or any other written or electronic
records of any and all type concerning discussions, negotiations, proposals, offers, agreements,
memorandums, understandings or other records of any type regarding the potential sale and
transaction involving the Weld County Ambulance Service and/or Banner Health Care and/or
North Colorado Medical Center, Inc. and/or the Board of Directors of North Colorado Medical
Center, Inc. and/or the Trustees of North Colorado Medical Center, Inc.
2. All documents including but not limited to correspondence, e-mails, written agreements,
memorandum, notes or any other written or other electronic documents concerning actions
related to.potential buyers of the Ambulance Service including any transfer of the Ambulance
Service to any potential buyer.
As a representative of the employees of PVMG and the Weld County patients we serve, we ask that you
hold the vote scheduled for next week until the public hearing can be held to review this transition.
Although we are aware that PVHS has had some previous conversation regarding Weld County
Ambulance Services, it was not in the contest of sale and outsourcing of its entire service and assets.
We believe that the published amount of the sale of ambulance assets is considerably undervalued.
PVHS will be willing to pay more, therefore we feel this needs to go back to the public process.
If you have any questions regarding this public records request, please contact me. Otherwise, please
make the requested documents available to us in accordance with C.R.S. 24-72-201, et seq., and
advise as to the date and hour at which the records will be available for inspection or when copies will
be made.
