PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
IR A public hearing was conducted on June 20, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner Sean P. Conway, Chair
Commissioner William F. Garcia, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Commissioner David E. Long - EXCUSED
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Brad Yatabe
Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 18, 2012, a public hearing was conducted to
consider the request of Shelton Land and Cattle, Ltd., c/o Petroleum Development Corporation,
for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR12-0013, for a
150-foot Telecommunication Antenna Tower in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. El Brad
Yatabe, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record and explained the original
notice for this date was not published; therefore, a subsequent notice has been published and
this matter is being continued.
El Kim Ogle, on behalf of Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, requested this
matter be continued to July 11, 2012, to allow adequate time for proper legal notice publication.
IR In response to Commissioner Kirkmeyer, Esther Gesick, Deputy Clerk to the Board,
reviewed the Docket caseload for the month of July and stated the applicant was advised of the
situation and they requested the proposed date. Chair Conway stated they will still be afforded
the option for further continuance at the future hearing date due to the lack of a full quorum.
Fl The applicant was not present and no public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
El Commissioner Rademacher moved to approve the request of Shelton Land and Cattle,
Ltd., do Petroleum Development Corporation, to continue consideration of the application for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR12-0013, fora 150-foot
Telecommunication Antenna Tower in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to July 11, 2012,
at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Kirkmeyer, and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:08 a.m.
