RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING RESCINDING DOCUMENT#2012-0293,DATED
JANUARY 30, 2012, CONCERNING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR
PAYMENT OF BONUS AMOUNTS FOR CERTAIN REPORTED OIL AND GAS
EMPLOYEES RESIDING WITHIN MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES -TOWN OF NUNN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on January 30, 2012, by Consent Agenda, the Board approved an
Intergovernmental Agreement for Payment of Bonus Amounts for Certain Reported Oil and Gas
Employees Residing within Municipal Boundaries with the Town of Nunn, and
WHEREAS, based on certain terms and conditions, the Town of Nunn now desires to
withdraw from participating in the Agreement, and
WHEREAS, on February 8, 2012, the Board deemed it advisable to continue the matter to
March 7, 2012, in order to obtain documentation that the Town of Nunn has taken formal action on
this matter, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to continue the matter to March 14,
2012, to allow additional time to receive documentation from the Town confirming its intent to
withdraw.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request to rescind the Intergovernmental Agreement for Payment of
Bonus Amounts for Certain Reported Oil and Gas Employees Residing within Municipal Boundaries
with the Town of Nunn, be, and hereby is, continued to March 14, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 7th day of March, A.D., 2012.
