RESOLUTION
RE: APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER C. W. KIRBY AS REPRESENTATIVE
TO LARIMER-WELD COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS AIR QUALITY POLICY
STUDY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Larimer-Weld Council of Governments has re-
quested that Weld County appoint an elected official to the
Larimer-Weld Council of Governments Air Quality Policy Advisory
Committee, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to ap-
point Commissioner C. W. Kirby to said Air Quality Policy Study
Committee.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners that Commissioner C. W. Kirby be, and hereby is, ap-
pointed to the Larimer-Weld Council of Governments Air Quality
Policy Study Committee.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of

The Board of Weld County Commissioners has been asked by
the LWCOG to designate a County Commissioner to represent
Weld County on the LWCOG Air Quality Policy Advisory
Committee and a representative to serve on the LWCOG
restructuring committee now being formed.
The Board wishes to inform you that Commissioner C.W. Kirby
has been designated by Board action to serve as Weld County
representative to both entities.
