About MVFR
MVFR has been in service for over 50 years.

60,000 commuters.
Currently, MVFR has 5 staffed stations and another station will
be staffed on Highway 119 by the end of November.
MVFR's ISO has been lowered to 3/9 as of November 1st
Also, MVFR has no bonded indebtedness, and continues to
operate on a cash basis. MVFR has placed a strong emphasis
on fiscal responsibility and superior financial management.
MVFR earned Accreditation through the Commission on Fire
Accreditation International in August, 2013.

efficient mode of
transportation for Sparky
the Fire Safety Dog.
• Resources from Weld
County were available
for a significantly lower
cost than a lift.
• Community Outreach
needed a way to
encompass all safety
curriculum into one
theme.
