RE: APPROVE DESIGNATION OF PARTICULAR PUBLIC PLACES FOR POSTING OF
NOTICES TAX LIEN SALES AND NOTICES OF PROPERTIES GOING TO DEED
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board, in concert with its appointed Weld County Treasurer, desires to
designate the appropriate locations for the posting of notices required of the Treasurer pursuant to
Section 39-10-110, C.R.S., concerning the posting and publication of the distraint, seizure and sale
of property for delinquent personal property taxes, and
WHEREAS, the Board, in concert with its appointed Weld County Treasurer, desires to
designate the appropriate locations for the posting of notices required of the Treasurer pursuant to
Section 39-11-102 C.R.S., concerning the posting and publication of notices concerning tax lien
sales, and
WHEREAS, the Board recognizes that the requirements of the statute are generally met by
publication of the matters described in the preceding two paragraphs in a newspaper of general
circulation within the County, but also recognizes that the Treasurer desires to provide additional
notice by posting said notices on county property, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to designate the bulletin board in the
foyer of the Treasurer's Office, 1400 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631, as the public
place for posting notices of the distraint, seizure and sale of property for delinquent personal
property taxes and of tax sales, in addition to being posted on-line, and published as required by
statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the bulletin board mentioned above be, and hereby is, declared to be the
designated public place to be used for posting all official notices of the distraint, seizure and sale of
property for delinquent personal property taxes and the posting of tax sales, both of which are
published as required by statute and, in the case of tax sales are also posted on-line.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
