HomeMy WebLinkAbout790665.tiff RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- SIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Weld County has acquired, and is the owner of the following described real property, duly recorded in the records of the County Clerk and Recorder of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, as follows, to-wit: Trca surer's Recorded Book & Deed Date Page/Reception No. Description 2671 11/10/77 815/1736697 Und 1/16 Int NWo Sec 8 T8 R56 WHEREAS, said property has been duly advertised for sale in the Platteville Herald, Greeley Tribune, and Longmont Times- Call on May 10 , 1979 and May 31, 1979 . Said property has been duly offered for sale at a public meeting of the Board of County Commissioners on the 13th day of June, 1979 , in the Chambers of the Board, and WHEREAS, Grace and James E. Jones, 719 East Ninth Avenue, Ft. Morgan, Colorado, bid One Hundred and One Dollars ($101 .00) as the purchase price for said property and being the highest and best bidder, said property was sold. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Norman Carlson, Chair- man of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, be, and herebyis, constituted and appointed and ordered to convey, without covenants of warranty, to Grace and James E. Jones , the aforementioned property, as abovedescribed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as to such conveyance, Norman Carlson is authorized to affix the seal. of Weld County and said conveyance shall have the effect to transfer to said Grace and James E. Jones all right and interest which Weld County has in PRi O,,t 790665 and to the abovedescribed property. Weld County does not warrant title.
