Dear Commissioners Conway, Rademacher, and Freeman:
I, like many Coloradoans and U.S. citizens share your frustration and outrage at the liberalization of conservative states
like Colorado. It seems to be a common trait for liberals to destroy one state and then move to a viable, livable
conservative state and then proceed to destroy it. I would like to suggest an alternative to a separate 51St state. An
amendment to the Colorado Constitution that would limit legislators' TOTAL compensation to the MEDIAN income of the
state would cause the House of Representatives and Senate to pass legislation that is best for the citizens of the state
instead of what is best to get re-elected. Such an amendment would be supported by both liberals and conservatives
and would easily be passed as a citizens' initiative and would be a model for other states and the US congress as well.
Sincerely
Je'f'ry Potter

PS: A separate amendment that would prevent the Colorado legislation from repealing or modifying this amendment
would be advisable.
