Box 146 New Raymer, CO 80742 Cary Lambert, Mayor Amy Harms, Clerk/Treasurer Dear All Landowners in the Town limits of New Raymer, Colorado, You may or may not know that approximately two years ago the Town received a letter from the State of Colorado Engineer putting our water well on an abandonment list. Therefore, we had to hire a water engineer and a water lawyer. We had to prove to the state that we are non tributary to the South Platte River. This has been a long and expensive two years. We are finally seeing a possible end to this process. The water court has required the Town to get consent from all of the landowners for the withdrawal of water from the Pierre Shale Formation. The town well is the only water source for the Town of Raymer. Without that source the value of everyone's land will diminish greatly. Could you please sign this form and return it to me in the self addressed and already stamped envelope? All landowners need to sign the form. We need these forms back as soon as possible because we have a deadline to meet. If you have any questions please contact Mayor Cary Lambert (970)768-3514 or Clerk Amy Harms (970)380-8590. Thanks for your quick response!! Amy Har Clerk Hello
