Subject: Utility Vehicle; Bid #81300002
As advertised, this bid is for a Utility Vehicle (UN) with a dump bed to replace an existing piece of
equipment. In addition, there were two options requested for evaluation: Option 1 was to obtain the
additional cost for a hard top cab with doors. Option 2 was to obtain pricing for a snow plow. Upon
further evaluation, the Option 1 for a cab with doors is not desirable at this time.
The low bid for the basic UTV equipment is from Bobcat of the Rockies. Therefore, Buildings & Grounds
is recommending the bid be awarded Bobcat of the Rockies.
In addition, Buildings and Grounds is recommending that Option 2 for the snow plow be added. The
addition of Option 2 does not change the ranking as Bobcat of the Rockies is still the low bid with both
these items.
