HomeMy WebLinkAbout790460 RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY BUILDING INSPECTION DEPART- MENT TO WORK WITH THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY IN PROCEEDING WITH LEGAL ACTION, IF NECESSARY, AGAINST BOB KOBEL FOR A ZONING VIOLATION. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Bob Kobel has applied for and been denied a building permit on real estate described as 1102 76th Avenue, Lot 19 , Knaus Subdivision, 1st filing, and WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services has informed the Board of County Commissioners that the Structure on said property is in violation of the Weld County Zoning Resolution as it pertains to required setbacks which is the basis for denial of the building permit, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis- able to authorize the Weld County Building Inspection Department to work with the Weld County Attorney in proceeding with legal action, if necessary, against Bob Kobel . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Building Inspection Department be, and hereby is, authorized to work with the Weld County Attorney in proceeding with legal action, if necessary, against Bob Kobel for a zoning violation.
