RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF CELL PHONE USAGE AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - KENNETH BUCK
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Agreement for Reimbursement of
Cell Phone Usage between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, and Kenneth Buck, District Attorney for the 19th
Judicial District, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement for
reimbursement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Agreement for Reimbursement of Cell Phone Usage between
the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, and Kenneth Buck, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of January, A.D., 2013.

AGREEMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR CELL PHONE USAGE
THIS AGREEMENT is made by and between the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, whose address is P.O. Box 758, 1150 O Street, Greeley, CO 80632, hereinafter
referred to as "Board," and Kenneth R. Buck, District Attorney for the 19th Judicial District,
whose address is 915 10`h Street, Greeley, CO 80631, hereinafter referred to as "District
Attorney."
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. § 20-1-302, the Board is obligated to pay for the
necessary office expenses incurred by the District Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the District Attorney has chosen to use his personal cell phone for work
purposes, and therefore this Agreement is necessary to detail the procedures to be followed for
the District Attorney to obtain reimbursement his use of his cell phone for work purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and inconsideration of covenants and agreements below
appearing, the parties agree as follows:
1. REIMBURSEMENT FOR CELL PHONE USAGE: Board agrees to reimburse District
Attorney at the rate of $45.00 per month for his use of his personal cell phone in the
course of his performing the duties of his office. Such reimbursement shall be the only
compensation due and owing District Attorney for such usage. District Attorney shall
have the responsibility of arranging and paying for service for use of said cell phone.
2. REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF CELL PHONE: District Attorney shall be solely
responsible for any costs incurred by him to repair or replace his personal cell phone.
