RE: APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARY/TREASURER FOR THE DELTA IRRIGATION
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Commissioner Norman Carlson has been elected as
President of the Delta Irrigation District and has informed the
Board of the need to appoint a secretary/treasurer for said Delta
Irrigation District, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Carlson has suggested that Jeannette
Ordway, Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
be appointed as secretary/treasurer for said Delta Irrigation
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Jeannette Ordway be,
and hereby is appointed as secretary/treasurer of the Delta Ir-
rigation District for a term, conterminous with the term of
Norman Carlson, who is serving as President of said Delta Irriga-
tion District.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
March, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 9th day of March, A.D. , 1977.
