Weld County has received one bid for this vehicle and recommends awarding the sole bidder to MHC-
KENWORTH in the amount of $238,830.00. This project received CMAQ funds, please refer to the
agency's letter of support. If you have any questions, please call me at extension 3748.

RE: North Front Range MPO; CMAQ grant funds
Elizabeth,
I wanted to write and express our appreciation and enthusiasm for the opportunity to participate with
Weld County on this very beneficial North Front Range MP0 project. Northern Plains Trucking supports
using CMAQ grant funds to further Weld County's Smart Energy Program which promotes the use of
Natural Gas as "the" alternative transportation fuel. We are anxious to add our first CNG truck to our
current fleet. NPT commits to providing the 17.21% local match funds for our portion of the project,
which includes the purchase of one CNG truck.
