RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR13-0029, FOR A 130 -FOOT TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - RONALD HULSTROM, C/O SURESITE
CONSULTING GROUP, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 4th day of
September, 2013, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of
hearing the application of Ronald Hulstrom, 2714 County Road 7, Erie, CO 80516, c/o SureSite
Consulting Group, LLC, 400 Iverness Parkway, Suite 200, Englewood, CO 80112, for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR13-0029, for a 130 -foot
Telecommunication Tower in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real
state, to -wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption, RE -2502, being part
of the S1/2 NW1/4 of Section 22, Township 1
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing, the Board deemed it advisable to continue the matter to
October 2, 2013, to allow the applicant adequate time to address co -location requirements, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this matter
should be referred back to the Department of Planning Services to allow the applicant additional
time to address co -location requirements, which involves negotiations with other tower owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, referred back to the
Department of Planning Services.
