RE: AUTHORIZE AMBULANCE DIRECTOR, JERRY WONES TO ATTEND
PARAMEDIC TRAINING CLASS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs o` Weld County, Colorado, and
Jerry Wones, Weld County Ambulance Service Director,
has requested permission to attend the paramedic training class
which begins in August and ends in October and would •involve
Mr. Wones being gone approximately 75% of the time from August
to October, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wones' assistant would assume his duties dur-
•
ing his absence, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interest of Weld County for Mr. Jerry Wones to
attend said paramedic training class.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of. County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Jerry Wones, Weld County
Ambulance Service Director, be and hereby is, authorized to attend
the paran:ecti.c training class which begins in August, 1978.
The above and foregoing itesol.ution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
June, A. t). , 1978.
