Weld County has received two bids for this vehicle and recommends awarding the low bidder to Weld
County Garage for $37,979(pickup) and $47,278(Utility Box) for a total amount of $85,257.00. This
project received CMAQ funds, please refer to the agency's letter of support. If you have any questions,

Re: Upper Front Range TPR; CMAQ grant funds
Elizabeth,
On behalf of the Platteville Gilcrest Fire Protection District (PGFPD), I would like to
express our sincere appreciation for the opportunity to participate with Weld
County on the above referenced project. PGFPD is very excited about the
opportunity to partner with Weld County on this Upper Front Range TPR project.
It will benefit our Organization tremendously if we are selected to receive grant
funding. PGFPD supports using CMAQ grant funds to further Weld County's Smart
Energy Plan, which promotes the use of Natural Gas as the alternative
transportation fuel by converting our fleet vehicles to operate on Natural Gas.
PGFPD is committed to providing the 17.21% local match funds for our portion of
the project, which includes the purchase of two CNG vehicles.
It has been a pleasure working with you on this project and we look forward to a
positive outcome in the grant funding process. If you have any questions or need
