Home My WebLink About20132625.tiffRESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF BID #61300164, DELINQUENT TAX LIST ADVERTISEMENT - TREASURER'S OFFICE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting period for Bid Request #B1300164, Delinquent Tax Advertisement, for the Treasurer's Office, to comply with state statute 39-10-110, C.R.S., and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-day waiting period for said bid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for Bid Request #61300164, Delinquent Tax Advertisement, for the Treasurer's Office, be, and hereby is, waived. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Greeley Publishing Company, dba The Greeley Tribune, in the amount of $27,108, be, and hereby is, accepted. We received one bid, from the Greeley Publishing Company DBA the Greeley Tribune. We are recommending that the board select the low bid from the Greeley Publishing Company. The Greeley Publishing Company would print and insert one advertising list to include mobile home, personal property and corporate accounts, a second advertising that has been revised of only mobile home accounts and one printing of all real property accounts to be inserted on three consecutive weeks' newspapers. The costs for printing and insertion of these lists would be $27,108.00 The items would all be printed by the Greeley Publishing Company and inserted in the Greeley Tribune with a circulation of 19,000 households and the county newspaper, The Windsor Now paper and three other TribX publications located in the north, south and central zones of Weld County; for a total circulation of 133,000.
