RE: AUTHORIZE EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE COVERING CERTAIN
PROPERTY OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO - N1/2 S1/2 NW1/4 NE1/4,
S24, T3N, R63W
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is the owner of vast mineral lands located in Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Kerr-McGee Oil and Gas Onshore, LP, submitted a request to extend the
lease of 10.00 net mineral acres, more or less, described to -wit:
N1/2 S1/2 NW1/4 NE1/4 of Section 24, Township 3
North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County desires to approve the request submitted by Kerr-McGee Oil
and Gas Onshore, LP, to extend the lease on the above -described mineral acreage for $133.33
per net mineral acre, for a total sum of $1,334.00, together with a rental fee of one dollar ($1.00)
per net mineral acre, which is to run for a period of six (6) months, commencing at twelve
o'clock noon on January 5, 2014, and ending at twelve o'clock noon on July 5, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request submitted by Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Onshore, LP, to
extend the lease on the above -described mineral acreage for $133.33 per net mineral acre, for
a total sum of $1,334.00, together with a rental fee of one dollar ($1.00) per net mineral acres,
which is to run for a period of six (6) months, commencing at twelve o'clock noon on
January 5, 2014, and ending at twelve o'clock noon on July 5, 2014, be, and hereby is, granted
and approved.

Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Onshore LP as successor to Bayswater Exploration & Production
LLC per Assignment of Oil and Gas Leases, dated October 1st, 2011, recorded 3815539,
Weld County, Colorado, would like to extend the attached listed leases. The leases are
listed by legal description, rental payment amount, and the Option to Extend payment
amount.
Per terms of the Weld County Oil and Gas Leases, Paragraph 24, the extension will be for
six (6) months from the original expiration date. The Lessee shall pay to the Lessor the
sum of one-third of the original bonus and the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) per acre as
delay rental for the term of the extension. The royalty will remain the same.
Please acknowledge your receipt of this application for extension, Option to Extend
payments, and the rental payments by signing one copy of this letter and returning it to us
in the enclosed stamped, self-addressed envelope.
