The Department of Public Health and Environment has reviewed the bids for the /-Ton, 4X4
Extended Cab, short box pickup. The Department recommends selecting the 3r° low bid from
Sill Terhar Motors for a 2013 Ford F-150 for $21,911. The low bid was from Johnson Auto
Plaza, Inc. and second low bid from Korf Continental met specifications; however, it included a
V-8 motor which over the life of the vehicle will cost an additional $4,000 to operate due to
decreased gas mileage.

Clerk's Note: Pursuant to Section 5-4-30.A.3 Bid regulations of the Weld County
Code, the Board voted to accept the 4th low bid from Spradley Barr Ford Lincoln,
giving preference to a resident County bidder with a bid that was deemed
competitive in price and quality.
