The existing well is located north of the proposed gas plant, and will be piped south to the gas plant. There are no water service/ water supply districts in this area. The well is located in Lot A, NENE, Section 21, Township lON Range 58W, 6'h PM. The plant is located in Lot A, NENE, Section 21,Township lON Range 58W, 6`h PM, outside any Colorado designated groundwater basins. The well would be the only source of water for domestic use on the commercial property. The proposed well would serve drinking and sanitary uses, and the office could service as many as 10 employees. • Sewage would be handled by a septic tank located to the south of the office. • Lot A is 34.99 acres in size. We've attached an initial determination from Joanna Williams with Colorado Division of Water Resources to Chris Gathman of Weld County Planning Services that Lot A does not appear to qualify as a subdivision as defined in C.R.S. Section 30-28-1010(10)(a). Annual consumption would not exceed 108,600 gallons (0.33 acre feet) per year and the pumping rate would not exceed 15 gallons per minute. • A totalizing flow meter will be installed on the well. A well permit for additional commercial or industrial uses could only be issued with a court -approved plan for augmentation The water supply for Lot B is a well Records in this office indicate that a livestock well with permit no 11399 is located on proposed Lot 8 The well was permitted in 1952 and its permit is not affected by the size of the parcel on which it is located. The ability of the applicant to obtain a well permit for Lot A will be determined at the time a well permit application is submitted to this office.
