RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE FAMILIES, YOUTH,
AND CHILDREN COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth, and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable, to appoint
Veronica Ibarra to said commission as the Probation representative replacing Lydia Strode, with
a term to expire December 31, 2014, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable, to reappoint
to said commission Rosemary Geelan, as the Accountant or other Professional representative,
Enita Kearns-Hout, as a Member At -Large, and Joseph Bodine, as the Attorney representative,
with terms to expire December 31, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Rosemary Geelan, Enita Kearns-Hout and Joseph Bodine are
hereby reappointed; and that Veronica Ibarra is appointed to the Families, Youth, and Children
Commission.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of January, A.D., 2013.
