RE: ANNUAL MEETING AND 2014 BUDGET HEARING - BEEBE DRAW LAW ENFORCEMENT
AUTHORITY
A public hearing was conducted on December 11, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner William F. Garcia, Chair
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Sean P. Conway - EXCUSED
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther E. Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Brad Yatabe
Director of Budget and Management Analysis, Donald D. Warden
The following business was transacted:
a I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 13, 2013, and duly published
November 16, 2013, in the Greeley Tribune, the Annual Meeting of the Beebe Draw Law
Enforcement Authority Board was conducted, and a public hearing was conducted to consider the
proposed 2014 Budget for the Weld County Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority (LEA) District.
Donald Warden, Director of Budget and Management Analysis, reviewed the structure of the LEA
District and recommended approval of the budget, in the amount of $12,175.00, assessed at 7.0
mills.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
E2 Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to approve the Resolution to Adopt the Budget, in the amount
of $12,175.00. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Freeman, and it carried unanimously.
a Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to approve the Resolution to Appropriate Sums of Money.
Commissioner Rademacher seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
a Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to approve the Resolution to Set the Mill Levy, at 7.0 mills.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Rademacher, and it carried unanimously.
Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to approve the Law Enforcement Agreement and authorize
the Chair to sign. Commissioner Rademacher seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 11:06 a.m.
