Re: Upper Front Range CMAQ Grant Funds
To Whom It May Concern:
On behalf of the Town of Kersey, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the
opportunity to participate with Weld County on the above referenced project. The Town
of Kersey is very excited about the opportunity to partner with Weld County on the
Upper Front Range MPO project. This will benefit our community tremendously if we
are selected to receive grant funding. The Town of Kersey supports using CMAQ grant
funds to further Weld County's Smart Energy Plan, which promotes the use of Natural
Gas as the alternative transportation fuel by converting our fleet vehicles to operate on
Natural Gas. The Town of Kersey is committed to providing the 17.21% local match
funds for our portion of the project, which includes the purchase of one CNG vehicle.
It has been a pleasure working with you on this project and we look forward to a positive
outcome in the grant funding process. If you have any questions or need additional
