After reviewing the bids submitted by Rush Truck Center, and by MHC Kenworth for the 2014 LNG
Tractor. The bid from Rush Truck Center does not meet the requirements for the following;
The rear suspension is a four bag, not the required eight bag suspension, which is required for the type
of terrain the vehicle will be operating.
The longer extended cab on the Peterbilt will interfere with the components we will be adding on to the
top of the frame in order for the truck to perform its intended function, thus it sloes not meet the
requirements.
The bid from MHC Kenworth 5juameet all the requirements. We recommend awarding the bid in the amount of
$238,300.00
