DoNot Approve Emergency Contraception
As a health care provider in Weld County, I am asking that emergency contraception be banned from the county
health clinics. Planned Parenthood is seeking this to expand their services and profits. There is clearly enough
clinics and emergency rooms available to provide this service. This is another method PP utilizes to circumvent
parental consent. It is well known that patients can experience excessive uterine bleeding and complications
from emergency contraceptions and parents need to be involved in this decision which can have life long
consequences for a teen. I implore you not to succumb to PP's tactics of intimidation. I appreciate your
consideration of this matter.
