RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jack Statler be reassigned on said board as
the standing Director of Communications representative replacing Mike Savage, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Brian Eckstine be appointed to said board
as the Fire Zone A representative replacing Robert Standen, with a term to expire
December 31, 2013 (backdated to September 25, 2012), and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that that Ted Poszywak be appointed as the Fire
Zone B representative replacing Tim Zimmerman, with a term to expire December 31, 2012
(backdated to May 22, 2012), and that he also be reappointed to said position with a term to
expire December 31, 2015 (backdated to January 1, 2013), and
WHEREAS, the Board deems these appointment and reappointments to said board to
be advisable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Jack Statler, Brian Eckstine, and Ted Poszywak, be, and hereby
are, appointed and reappointed to the Regional Communications Advisory Board, with terms to
expire as listed above.
