RE: INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGNS AND "STOP AHEAD" SIGNS ON
COUNTY ROAD NO. 10 AT THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROAD
NO. 49 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has had a recommendation from the Board of County Commissioners
to install "Stop"signs and "Stop Ahead" signs on County Road
No. 10 at the Intersection of County Road No. 49, and
WHEREAS , the Department of Engineering Services , after
completing an investigation of said recommendation, has deter-
mined that there is a necessity for the protection of the general
public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners, Weld County, Coloradd, that the Department of
Engineering Services is directed to install "Stop" signs and
"Stop Ahead" signs at the intersection of County Road No. 49 on
County Road No. 10.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of
October, A.D. , 1977 .

Stop signs on County Road 10
Subject:
I would recommend that County Road 49 be made a thru road
and County Road 10 a Stop with Stop Ahead signs making
this a controlled intersection. After completion of an
investigation it was determined that this intersection is
blind due to farm building and trees . Sketch is attached
for the proposed stop sign installation.
I would recommend that you adopt the resolution for this
traffic sign installation.
