RE: ACKNOWLEDGE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE
(TS CERT 2004-0305) FOR PARCEL #105905400003
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT
2004-0305), for parcel #105905400003, from the office of the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation of
TS CERT 2004-0305, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on Exhibit A further authorize the denial of a refund to the
holder of TS CERT 2004-0305, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to acknowledge the cancellation of
the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2004-0305) for the property described above and to deny a
refund to the holder of the Certificate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2004-0305), on
parcel #105905400003, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, acknowledged.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 11th day of March, A.D., 2013.

REQUESTING CANCELATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE OF PURCHASE

Tax Sale Certificate number #2004-0305 was purchased by INA GROUP LLC on NOVEMBER 4.
2004; and whereas, the said INA GROUP LLC was notified and given the opportunity to endorse all
subsequent taxes onto the certificate and make application for a Treasurer's Deed. INA GROUP LLC
chose not to take any action. This created the need of a resolution by the Board of County
Commissioners to cancel TS CERT 2004-0305.
Therefore, I am hereby asking for Tax Sale Certificate number 2004-0305 to be canceled because a
second tax lien sale certificate of purchase was sold on NOVEMBER 7, 2008 to ERIK LODE; and
whereas, the said ERIK LODE then made application for a Treasurer's deed to the property. A
Treasurer's Deed was issued to ERIK LODE on MARCH 4, 2013.
No authorization of refund to INA GROUP LLC due to the circumstances described above.
