RE: RELEASE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR PUBLIC NUISANCE ABATEMENT
COSTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, acting pursuant to
Section 25-1-518, C.R.S., as the local Board of Public Health, ordered the owner and receiver of
the Rocky Mountain Vista Mobile Home Park, located at 12623 County Road 6, in Weld County,
Colorado, (Property Profile Account R6777995, R6777997; Parcel #147119400016,
147119400017), to abate the public nuisance existing at the park, and
WHEREAS, the Board authorized the Weld County Department of Public Health and
Environment (WCDPHE) to abate the public nuisance if the owner or receiver failed to do so,
which was done by the WCDPHE, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #2012-3609, dated December 17, 2012, the Board
approved the certification of such abatement costs as a special assessment to the Weld County
Treasurer in accordance with Section 24-1-518(3), C.R.S., and
WHEREAS, the special assessment has now been paid in full, as provided in the Weld
County Treasurer's receipt dated February 11, 2013, which is attached hereto and fully
incorporated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, hereby releases the special assessment and deems it to be fully
satisfied by payment to the Weld County Treasurer.
