RE: ACKNOWLEDGE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT
1998-0217 AND TS CERT 2001-0357) FOR PARCEL #105911124002
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., the Board has received two (2)
Tax Lien Sale Certificates (TS CERT 1998-0217 and TS CERT 2001-0357), for parcel
#105911124002, from the office of the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificates of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation of
TS CERT 1998-0217 and TS CERT 2001-0357, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on Exhibit A further authorize the denial of a refund to the
holders of TS CERT 1998-0217 and TS CERT 2001-0357, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to acknowledge the cancellation of
the Tax Lien Sale Certificates (TS CERT 1998-0217 and TS CERT 2001-0357) for the property
described above and to deny a refund to the holders of the Certificates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificates (TS CERT 1998-0217 and TS
CERT 2001-0357), on parcel #105911124002, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is,
acknowledged.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 28th day of January, A.D., 2013.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: MIL 21964-D PT L22 THRU L25 BLK33 LYING N OF
HILLSIDE LATERAL, MILLIKEN
Tax Sale Certificate number 1998-0217 was purchased by MICHAEL W. GOODWIN on
NOVEMBER 5, 1998; and whereas, the said MICHAEL W. GOODWIN was notified and given the
opportunity to endorse all subsequent taxes onto his certificate and make application for a Treasurer's
Deed himself. MICHAEL W. GOODWIN chose not to take any action. This created the need of a
resolution by the Board of County Commissioners to cancel TS CERT 1998-0217.
Therefore, I am hereby asking for Tax Sale Certificate number 1998-0217 to be canceled because a
second tax lien sale certificate of purchase was sold on NOVEMER 7, 2008 to TRUE & CO
EMPLOYEES PROFIT SHARING TRUST; and whereas, the said TRUE & CO EMPLOYEES
PROFIT SHARING TRUST then made application for a Treasurer's deed to the property. A
Treasurer's Deed was issued to TRUE & CO EMPLOYEES PROFIT SHARING TRUST on
JANUARY 17, 2013.
No authorization of refund to MICHAEL W. GOODWIN due to the circumstances described above.

2001, duly assigned to GREGORY F ZADEL AND FRANKLIN C ZADEL on DECEMBER 19,
2008; and whereas, the said GREGORY F ZADEL AND FRANKLIN C ZADEL were notified and
given the opportunity to endorse all subsequent taxes onto their certificate and make application for a
Treasurer's Deed themselves. GREGORY F ZADEL AND FRANKLIN C ZADEL chose not to take
any action. This created the need of a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners to cancel TS
CERT 2001-0357.
Therefore, I am hereby asking for Tax Sale Certificate number 2001-0357 to be canceled because a
second tax lien sale certificate of purchase was sold on NOVEMER 7, 2008 to TRITE & CO
EMPLOYEES PROFIT SHARING TRUST; and whereas, the said TRUE & CO EMPLOYEES
PROFIT SHARING TRUST then made application for a Treasurer's deed to the property. A
Treasurer's Deed was issued to TRUE & CO EMPLOYEES PROFIT SHARING TRUST on
JANUARY 17, 2013.
