RESOLUTION
RE: ADOPTION OF POLICY REGARDING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF MOVING
EXPENSES FOR NEW WELD COUNTY EMPLOYEES .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desires to declare and implement a policy regarding
the reimbursement of moving expenses for new Weld County employees,
and
WHEREAS, the policy has been recommended to read as follows :
"Moving expenses for household goods may be reimbursed
not to exceed one months salary for the position involved.
These expenses will only be reimbursed for new employees
hired for the following positions who move to Weld County,
Colorado.
Director of Health Services
Director of Finance
Director of Planning
Director of Human Resources
County Attorney
County Engineer
Director of Ambulance Services
Director of Communications
Under Sheriff
A copy of the transportation shipping bill will accompany
the request. Moving expenses payment request will be
handled by the Personnel Department. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above and foregoing
policy with regard to the reimbursement of moving expenses of
certain new Weld County employees be, and hereby is, adopted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
June, A.D. , 1978 .
