RE: SUPPORT OF THE PLANS AND PROJECT OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE WELD COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL AS SUBMITTED TO THE
CENTRAL-NORTHEAST COLORADO HEALTH SYSTEMS AGENCY AND THE
COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Weld County need hospital and
medical services and facilities , and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Weld County General
Hospital has a statutory responsibility to provide such services,
and
WHEREAS, the present facilities of the Weld County General
Hospital are outdated, crowded and unable to meet many present
needs, codes and standards, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has developed a plan and
project to remedy deficiencies and to meet modern standards
and requirements of hospital and medical care.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado does hereby affirm its
support of the plans and project of the Board of Trustees of
the Weld County General Hospital as submitted to the Central-
Northeast Colorado Health Systems Agency and the Colorado
Department of Health for a Certificate of Public Necessity.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado will give due and proper consideration
to an inducement resolution should industrial revenue bonds be
utilized for project financing.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
