RE: APPOINTMENT OF MARY BORG TO THE WELD COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists on the Weld County Library
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mary Borg be appointed
to fill said vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Mary Borg, be and hereby
is , appointed as a member of the Weld County Library Board for a
three year term to expire May 1, 1981.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
April, A.D. , 1978 .

Dear Mr. Dunbar:
At it's meeting on April 24 the Weld County Library Board of
Trustees voted to recommend the reappointment of Mrs. Lillian
Bird for a three year term. In view of.her involvement in the
building program for the library, we believe it would be
advantageous for her to remain a member.
She has been most cooperative and supportive as a board
member, and the continuity would be especially valuable now.

Dear Mr. Ross:
The Board of Weld County Commissioners wishes to inform the
Library Board of Trustees of its appointment of Mrs. Mary
Borg to serve a three year term on the Library Board,
effective May 1, 1978.
The Board of County Commissioners appreciates the Library
Board's recommendation that Mrs. Bird be appointed for
another term. However, the Board has tried to follow
general provisions of our Home Rule Charter concerning
such advisory board appointments.
Mrs. Borg has expressed interest in serving on the Library
Board for some time, and I 'm sure you will find her an asset
to the Library Board's activities. While the Commissioners
recognize that Mrs. Bird' s familiarity with the work of the
Library Board would be advantageious, we believe that Mrs.
Borg's input and continuing interest will also be of benefit
to the Library.
