TO: Clerk to the Board DATE: September 6, 2013
FROM: Janet Carter, Public Works
SUBJECT: Installation of Stop Signs on CR 390
Public Works requests approval to install a traffic regulatory sign (Stop sign R1-1) at the intersection of CR 390
and various intersections. The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) section 2B.04 suggests
that stop signs should be placed at an intersection of a less important road with a main road where application
of the normal right-of-way rule would not be expected to provide reasonable compliance with the law.
