RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND FOR JUVENILE DIVERSION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the District Attorney's Office that a
Change Fund, in the amount of $100.00, be established for use in the Juvenile Diversion Program
facility, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that a Change Fund, in the amount of $100.00, be, and hereby is, established
for the Juvenile Diversion Program.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of June, A.D., 2013.

SUBJECT: Change Fund uvenile Diversion
The Juvenile Diversion Program has started collecting a program fee of $50.00. This is an approved
fee that can be collected by the program. In starting up the collection the past couple of months we
find that many times the individuals are bringing in cash and there is a need to make change.
I would request and recommend we start a change fund for the Juvenile Diversion Program. I would
recommend that a change fund in the amount of $100.00 be established.
